It pulls the bitter out of the cucumber. If it’s cut and the end is rubbed while the cucumber is whole the slices don’t need to be done individually. You do not need to do this with long English only field style.

I made this yesterday and it was delicious. I followed the recipe except I only put 1 lime. After straining it, I put a lot of ice then put it back in the blender and made a slushy and OMG it was amazing. It’s gone now btw 😂. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

I'm diabetic also and I'm going to try this but I'm going to use the sugar substitute like splenda but I use the like the store brand (they are too expensive and I can't afford the expensive stuff) it should be the same thing...cant use regular sugar, don't want to go into a diabetic coma either, better safe than sorry...
I make this every couple days and add chia seeds to mine,I love it..since I'm diabetic I use monk fruit instead of sugar.i dont strain mine ,I like having the fiber in mine.
