This is such a great idea, BEAUTIFUL pieces, I suggest making your own ashtrays with the vinyl at the bottom of the ashtray would bring it up a notch. Never the less great work, i'm in love with the resin one.
This is dope, and yes I’m about to steal your idea because it’s phenomenal. My only concern is that I didn’t see you sand or clear but depending on the paint you used you might not have to do those steps. Thanks again great video
Have you tried using masking tape to transfer vinyl? I have found it to be life saving and easier to work with! Thanks for going into detail on making these, they are amazing ❤️
I think you do an amazing job! Keep the videos coming girl.. I have a brand new Cricut Maker I am trying to come up with ideas for things to make. This video was most definitely an inspiration.
I love this video so much!!! I was looking for exactly something like this to make all my friends for Christmas!!! ❤️👏🏻 thank you for the great ideas on the set and keep up the good work
Wow!! That is absolutely amazing!!🤗💯💙 I love how you made them!! And that #pisces tray caught my eye bcuz I'm a March baby!! Keep up the awesome work!!👌👍 Lots of love!! Xoxo ❤️
Using that epoxy is hard it runs and it will mess up stuff so take your time and don't use a lot of layers and it should be okay I thought the same on making it
@@estellamarquez2777 you can use A printer and just buy Vinyl printer paper or get photos printed from your local Walmart CVS Walgreens or Office Max hope this helps
I think you use glossy spray paint to have a little shine. But do you have to use spray paint that does not peal? Do you have to put a sealer over to seal spray paint and decal ? Thanks
My issue is sizing! How big should I make my design in Cricut and what are the measurements for the design for the lighter and ash tray? By the way, the trays are amazing!
Hi great video BTW, are the trays metal, I'm from the UK and I could only find cheap oven trays and let me tell you the spray paint I used does not stick 😅 so I used wooden trays in the end. Might check the £ shops for whatever these trays are 🤔 tysm 💜💜💜
Thank you for showing me how to make these step by step. Loved that you didnt hurry so I could follow. Just couple questions. do u just spray front of trays n not backs? Do you spray seal the dallas one? n on glitter ones u just glitter front right n epoxy it?
Heyyyyyy I love how you go detail to derail on instructing how to make a rolling tray. Could u please share where I would buy the stencils that stick like that.
Nikki Lay it’s a great investment I love mine I made the money back within a month of having it I have the maker ( the Cricut joy is smaller and does the same thing )
After watching so many videos I haven’t found any with in depth instruction on how to do the wording and more descriptive about the whole vinyl and transfer tape part. Like the part that they make the wording and everything then use the transfer tape. Lol. Anybody have any links to any videos that show more about that?
Google or youtube, I'm sure either will lead you in the right direction. But, just look up "how to make vinyl letters using transfer tape". Or, look up "cricut design cutting machine". That is a brand of a cutting machine, which you use to make vinyl letters. She stated which brand she uses in one of her videos, but I can't remember the name of it, as I'm familiar with cricut. There is a video I've watched before about the cricut maker machine, and it goes really in depth of what the machine is capable of, also how to use the machine. These machines are/can be very pricey unless you find a good deal. So if you are just doing a few little projects here and there, I'd suggest ordering a single decal, or going into a boutique shop and asking if they could sell you just the decal with or on the transfer tape! You really just peel off the protective cover on the decal, lay down your transfer tape over the decal, peel the transfer tape off of the original paper that the decal was stuck on, (the decal should now be stuck onto your transfer tape) now just stick your transfer tape onto whatever you are applying the word's to, rub your letters (just your letters, not the entire piece of tape) to make sure they are good and stuck, and peel off the transfer tape!
Candace Brock wow that was actually pretty explanatory. Basically covered the exact part that I was confused about!. Thank you. I’m actually looking into expanding my crafting abilities and starting a side hustle so I may look into the machine. Thank you so so much!!!
What do you use to make the vinyls? I went to the website but what would you recommend? And would you recommend applying the resin to every tray or just the glitter ones?
I use my cricut. If you don't have one or have a friend, you can by them pretty cheap on ETSY but I'm pretty sure if you ask around, someone will have one. Too easy and cheap to make just ask around. I use permanent vinyl NOT PERMANENT IRON ON although I HAVE used it on glass and then adhered with my heatpress so you CAN use iron on but not on this kind of tray
