In this video I explain how to make a simple scatter plot in Microsoft Excel. I also demonstrate how to add a line of best fit or "trendline" to the data and how to properly format and label a scientific graph.
Been teaching HS chem for 20+ years and always looking for resources for my kids re lab reports, lab copybooks, and data tools ...especially at the start of a term. Your 7 minute overview is THE BEST one out there at this point - perfect length, up-to-date, just the right depth, and extremely clear (flow and linking between the graphs development). THANK YOU Doug!!!
This is fantastic. You explained things that should have been explained to me in statistics by using basic physics to put it into context and all of sudden a huge portal to understanding the relationships of things has opened in my mind. Its beautiful stuff.
