g'day pat, thanks. We have not had bushfires where we are, but lots of fires a couple of hours away, and the smoke has been intense as it blows in, but most of it has gone now. makes you realise how bad it must be for those poor people in the fire zones. We have had a lot of rain now so hopefully a lot of the fires will be put out. Some areas getting new fires from lightning strikes with the storms. The best thing has been how much people are pitching in to help others. Most people are very kind at heart. :)
So hopefully this all makes sense to anyone reading that could help me work this out. So I want to make the adjustable serenity. The part where the strands separate to help the transition go smoothly (so that there isn’t a huge gap), makes sense if you’re only using one color, but what if you wanted to make this with different colors? How can you weave it so that you don’t have a gap when the transition comes, but also keep your colors consistent? I’ve been up all night trying to think this through and I’m stuck!
hi lindsay, yes, you can do with 3 colours instead of 4, but it will only change how wide it is because you are taking away one row high, it will still be thick. measurements would change only by taking away the cord of 1 of the colours.
hi anna, sorry, i can't work out everyone's measurements, maybe ask an adult to help, but 15 inches would be 1/4 less than 20, and you want 16 inches, so work out your 25% less, and just add on a little bit more for the extra inch. all the best.
