The way they do re-shots now in film is by using Lidar technology to get a 3D scan of sets/environments along with HDRI's. This makes its easy for the actor to get in front of a green screen and use the same environmental setting. This can all be done free using an iPhone and Blender or Unreal Engine 5.
Oh right I’ve actually heard something about being able to use Unreal Engine and your phone for this. I hadn’t thought to use blender though. Pretty cool what you can do these days just using your phone! It would be interesting to try that out on the channel at some point. Thank you for the info and for reaching out! It really means a lot!
