In about 3 frames of this video, you show what looks like the CAM tool you are using with your plasma table. Have you considered doing a video on that machine/software/workflow specifically? I think there are many people getting this type of equipment now that there are low cost options like Langmuir. In my case I built mine. Sans a full video, what CAD/CAM/Control software are you using. It looked like you are able to place the next job on the work space one at a time such that you load a full sheet of material and never move it. That looks like a real time saver (Appears you do your nesting in Corel Draw). I appreciate your efforts in these videos. Maybe I'll get a chance to say 'Hello' when Doug launches SVSeeker. ~P

every setup is going to be table specific but it's draw a file (Corel, InkScape, Illustrator, whatever) then in my case > Sheetcam to set feeds and speeds and make the gcode > whatever system reads the gcode for your motor controller

You may want to get over to your local Autobody Supply store, and pick up some "FINE-LINE" tape. Comes in all sizes, from 1/6" inch wide to I believe 3" inch wide. If your masking for say the two color hammer you just did, I'd recommend 3/4" in. to 1" inch wide tape. FINE-LINE tape, is approx half as thick as regular masking tape, thus the name "Fine Line." If you were using the "FINE-LINE" tape, and when all the different color's have been applied, you could put on a couple of coats of clear, and you wouldn't be able to feel the line between the two color's. Warning ahead of time, "FINE-LINE" tape, isn't cheap. HINT: you would use just one piece of the "FINE-LINE" tape to separate the two color's, then finish masking (aforesaid item) with regular automotive refinishing tape. Example: you use 3/4" in. wide automotive refinishing tape, & 3/4" in. "FINE-LINE" tape. put the 3/4" in. "FINE-LINE" on/down first, to separate the two {or more} color's. When applying the 3/4" in. wide automotive refinishing tape, overlap no more than half way, in this example half way would equal a overlap of 3/8" in. (0.375" in.) approx. Trick to removing tape after painting, is to pull tape back onto itself, and create a 45 degree angle, so as the tape will act somewhat like a knife, cutting the edge where the tape meets the edge of the freshly painted surface. Some automotive painter's like to remove tape ASAP, other's like to leave it on, until you can touch the painted tape surface, and not leave a finger print. You'll have to decide what camp makes you feel warm & fuzzy. When not using your tape, keep it fresh in a coffee can, or other item, with a tight sealing lid.

@@42Fab its a state or regional chain store, called English Color, they are all over TX, not sure if they are up your way or not. Some Oriely stores also sell automotive paints to body shops, they probably have the 5 gallon also.

US gallon of acetone is $23 USD (here in Canada, everything converted to USD for accurate reference.) This does NOT include the 13% tax (grrrr).

Yeah, I've found I like that the most, also doesn't help that my water is only an inch deep (all I could fit without a major modification to the table)
