A lot of woodworkers use a mechanical pencil or marking knife for precision.. may help a bit with having to compensate for pencil lines. Btw, lovin the videos and can’t thank ya enough for putting these out there dude!

OK, very new to this, but can you please please make a video about how one can make a simple deck from scratch, what i mean is with the veneer sheets and how do you give that curve and shape to it? Basically how to make a simple deck i guess. Also detailing how to choose the right veneer and other things required

And yes, bottom side you gain length. I struggled with that when I started making boards Haha. Figured it out. It’s definitely been a fun journey! Thanks for all you do Bro! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

The gain length, lose length on bottom or top was so frustrating when we first started making decks. Once we switched to flat templates, the only frustrating variable was PENCIL LINES! Those can throw things off.

So rad! Your boards and videos have inspired me to start making some decks :) Perfect timing on this vid bc the first set of blanks are almost cured enough to start shaping.. I remember you mentioning something about your truck hole jig in an older video and im curious if your buddy still makes those? I've got the rockitruler and a truck hole jig from good roads collective but the one you use makes the process seem a lot smoother.. Thanks for the inspo and all the info u share :) shred on!!
