I always enjoy my Saturday morning coffee with @Diyhuntress and @Diydanie. Sam, so excited to see all the other videos for this new house especially the workshop!
You have not lost your woodworking touch...That is a beautiful door! At first I was kind of skeptical that it would work, odd angle, closet in the way, small opening...but you pulled it off and made it look really good!😍 Well Done Miss Sam!!! Well done!...(surprised there are no chevrons😅)
Love the door, but I would have loved to see a fetch montage with your adorable pup! He reminds me so much of my parents dog, down to the weird half slide off the bed 😂
Does anyone else see the faces in the plywood? My husband and I see an Owl, a horse or some sort of long snout animal. Thank you Sam for such amazing content to watch!!
Thank you for sharing this content. My daughter is moving into her renovated duplex this weekend and was planning on installing a sliding barn door for a walk-in kitchen pantry. - - The reclaimed wood trimmed in black looks beautiful! I'll definitely be sharing this video with her. Simple, yet elegant things like this build make 'me' happy I subscribed to your channel, long ago. On a scale of 1-5, I rate this: 👊👊👊👊👊
I know you’re not to it yet, but for Chris’ instruments. If you plan to hang guitars, don’t pay for the expensive guitar hooks. You can use garden tool hooks with the rubber coating. You can use your wood working skills to create some really beautiful wood mounts to put them on and attach them to the wall. My husband and I made several hook strips for my classroom by drilling into 2x4 we had stained. They work best at a slight upward angle 15* or so. Even with 8-10 of them in a row, they looked so good!
I don't know how I missed this one. You are one of my favorites. Can't wait for the garage shop series. You have the most wonderful ideas. I know it will be incredible.
Sam, as always what a treat to see you work so hard, but as a dad - I have to admit, I have extra smiles when your dad appears so shout out to him. Now Sam, admit it. You just love to see the grinder create tons of sparks when you could have used another tool :) Cheers!
Great looking door. I missed your woodworking videos a lot! Nice to see you again, can't wait for new projects and maybe the process of building your garage wood shop.
I really like the sliding barn door idea and have tried to talk my wife into doing one in our living room but so far it is no sale. Yours looks great. Well done. That door is beautiful.
I already mentioned this on Insta, but this looks amazing! And shout out to garage again as well; I can’t wait to see your shop plans!! Hope you’re having a good weekend!
Amazing work!!!!!! Gorgeous door, gorgeous doggie and awesome Dad! Nuff good wishes and positive vibes coming your way from your big fan over here in Trinidad and Tobago 🤗🤗🤗🤗🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
That door looks fantastic! Very nice. Ya kniw, I would have stayed in that bedroom and made the room my massive closet/dressing room and put a vanity in there as well. 👍🏼🥰
Hi, I know this is too late for this problem but when you had the plywood standing up in the doorway it looked amazing with all those knots on the front side of the plywood. If it had been me I would have only covered one side. This would have reduced the weight of the door and reduced the labour and made it easier to make.
@@diyhuntress I just lugged mine upstairs last weekend. I told my hubby I was leaving there until the project was over because there was no way I was taking it downstairs and back up again...LOL
