How to Make a Smart Door Lock 

I watched the Amazing Spiderman yesterday and I wanted to build Peter's door lock system. Thank you for uploading such awesome content!

This lock is like the door lock of the amazing spider man 2 door lock of Peters room.

I watch the amazing spider-man movie and i see this smart door lock which is really good thank you bro.

Very talented. Add a couple of limit switches to avoid damaging the geared motor and you'll have a complete project!👍

I did the same thing years ago with the open and closing mechanism out of a broken DVD player . But I put 2 peices of 3/8 steel square tubing on both sides of the door and upgraded the motor to push a flat peice of stock 3/8 steel back n forth.

Currently ordering some supplies so I can make one myself! Cheers man!

Does it have to be a RC car circuit board? Or can it be like a drone or anything else?

so the on switch is just so you don't waste battery or? cuz im guessing the remote is to activate the opening and closing but could you do something similar but have a one and off switch at say a desk across the room and have it be able to unlock the door still?
