For everyone worried about it being too tight it’s wasn’t she has long hair so her hairs where sticking out I made shure it wasn’t tight 🤦🏽♀️ also we only have tile at home so she was always cold and just wanted lay on her bed so for everyone saying to “stop putting unnecessary stuff on dogs” can go mind your own business! I was only trying to help and give an idea for those who can find small sweaters for their pups especially in this cold weather! Rant over. 😌
Super cute! I wish I had thought of this when my little guy was a pup, he was about half the size of your puppy and so cold his first winter! You're so right about long hair, my guy is a long hair and it always sticks out in weird places. For anyone trying this technique I would recommend a bit of fray check or other fabric glue to the cut ends of the sock just to keep it intact a bit longer. :)

My niece has an eight month old smooth coat but her work hours aren't conducive to his needs. She knows I need a companion and is giving him to me...like tommorow! So I'm scrambling to puppy proof and make things comfortable for us. I want you to know that the effort you put into this presentation is muchly appreciated. Great video! My little girl mentioned as we looked for dog sweaters for our Chihuahua Luna that we could make these sweaters ourselves with a sock. The video was short enough to view together during breakfast and I really enjoyed it. Cute puppy!

@@latashalee7137 Hi Latasha. This was a while since I left this comment and I lost both of my babies. Mother and daughter. I lost my Nala which was Mom on 9/1/20. I lost her daughter 4/29/19. They both passed away in my arms and it's been so very hard. But after this video I started shopping at Goodwill in the baby section for my Nala & Bella. Also, Wal-Mart, TjMaxx, etc. Baby clothes easily transformed into dog clothes. Search RU-vid for baby clothes into dog clothes. I saved so much money. I spent a lot on dog attire at Petsmart and those places even snowsuits that cost me until I started shopping for regular baby clothes even snow suits and transformed them..SOOOOO CUTE👍 OH...CLEARANCE RACKS AT WAL-MART AND OTHER STORES😁

You are aware that a pair of fuzzy socks are at the 99c store for a buck and a preemie outfit can easily run $10 so why waste the extra $9 when you can spend $1 and get two sweaters and the fuzzy socks are warmer and softer than a preemie shirt. Js
I have made many of these, there are some longer more stretchy socks , super soft but not always easy to find, that make great sweaters like this. Thank for sharing your idea and your precious pup.
Very good video, doggie clothes are super expensive for puppies, they arent in them for long so it works out that you spend alot on them, i have done exactly how you have done, really good. I have done them out of sleeves from kids clothes from charity shops, comes out even better. xxxx
I have 2 really small dogs and I did find XXS T-shirts at Petco. I don’t like the way they fit. Also can never find a tiny sweater for them. Now I can make sweaters for my babies. Thank you. Great idea.

This idea is perfect because I have struggles to find my puppy some clothes. Would it be best to get a men’s sock? And also she’s long would it still work. I have a 2.6 lb (last time she was weighed) chihuahua I’m sure she’s bigger now but would this still be okay? She hates clothes but it gets cold and she needs it.
