You just used galvanized steel as containment material. Not advisable. Welding galvanized steel produces toxic gasses. Not sure if similar heating by burning oil will do the same.
If you change the inside of the stove just a bit... You Would Not Require Any External Pieces, Parts, or Anything to be plugged in for Extra Air ... None at All. The Stove would create its own Draw of Air with the fire 🔥 . So no Air pump or anything.
