1 cup is 250 ml and 1/2 sugar is 100 g

If you put it in the fridge and then take it out, will it melt? I want to use it as Cookie stuffing, but I don't want it to melt once on the cookies and I don't want to put the cookies in the fridge.

It won’t thicken if you omit the gelatin, so no you can’t. You can use unflavored gelatin if you want.

Oh I’m sorry , here in Egypt they sale unflavored gelatin and flavored gelatin in stores that’s Halal that’s what I use. So you will have to find an alternative.
