O really nice .. trick to make long thin line is quite helpful . I always struggle making that thin long snake as it brake when i work with fondant

I never use pastillage, sugarpaste and fondant, or what it's called, I work with chocolate, but I'm very amused about your videos. It's nice to see your skills and very glad that you share that with us. :)

Could you use an extruder like the one polymer clay artist use? I think that would help make the chain thickness consistent.

I think Pastillage is too firm for that. You can make pastillage softer in microvawe but it will gets very quick skin. Just try and go for it.
