Twisting wire for a textured effect with the help of draw plates can be a simple and effective technique to use for producing a fine and detailed silver chain.

@@Nickscreativestuff *making sure the wire is annealed well before twisting, or it may snap. i am making a sign for my wall with the laws of metal :)

Oh yes definitely my walls would be covered in reminders signs if I had the space. It’s easy to overheat links when annealing but you can’t over do it by annealing too many times. I tend to err on the side of caution and put them through the process as often as possible … N
