Damn man I’m going to cry, this video in particular, I have many, many memories with it, I was a young second grader who would get super frustrated if he would fail in making one of these, now I am a tenth grader and came back to watch this video during the COVID-19 lockdown❤️
It's been about 10 years since I first saw this video and found your channel (I'm now a sophomore in college), I remember there was these group of boys that were making the transforming ninja stars and I wasn't someone who really fit in with anyone, so I figured since it looked so cool and I was too shy to ask if they could make me one, I would go home to try and make it (this was also my shot and making possible need friends), and that's when I stumbled on your video, it was super easy to follow! If only I had realized you were using much smaller paper! I ended up using 8 whole sheets of printer paper to make this giant one, I took it to school to see what the group's reaction would be and they were amazed at the size! They thought it was coolest thing ever, I ended up giving it to the boy since he liked it so much. Basically what I'm saying is that because of your tutorial I was noticed for a moment and maybe to many people it doesn't seem like much, but it meant so much to me in the moment. And I just wanted to thank you for all your origami videos, they brought me so much joy! Not to mention the ninja knot! I still use that knot to this very day to tie my shoes! I hope you're doing well, take care!
Oh my god I finally found you! I used to watch your videos everyday back in 3rd-4th grade, (8 years ago) im now a senior in high school. It’s truly a great thing to see you’re still doing well man.
Damn i had such a throw back me and my twin brother making these for my dad who we rarely saw. Thanks for making my childhood soo much greater man. Edit: i was 7 at the time im 17 gonna turn 18. Wow time flies
I remember in middle school I would always make these with your tutorial lol 😂 just recently came back because I thought of making one again and 8 years later you still have helped me
One more thing it’s just that whenever I try to transform it the flaps keep breaking apart. Is there any way to secure them? Otherwise will it still transform if I apply a little bit of tape?
Hey Rob, thanks for the video. For some reason when I put it in the blade state, when I put it back it falls apart. BTW can you make more Rubik's videos?
Anything really, I just would like to see some of those old cubing videos back up on the channels. Plus, your channel is what got me into cubing a year ago, so those may do the same for some of your newer subscribers. Thanks for responding!
I love this video. My son, who is autistic, needed to make models for his uni course. He decided he wanted to do origami. Most of the videos I’d previously looked at were done so fast it was impossible for me to keep up. I then found your channel. You’ve saved my sanity and we’ve avoided another autistic meltdown, which for me are not fun. Thank you so much for your clear instructions done at a pace which makes sense.
Great tutorial! I jave made so many so far, including a miniture one! Your tutorials are so clear and simple, that I'm thinking on usimg most of my summer learning your origami! Btw just learned the single sided ninja star and 8pt double sided ninja star yesterday and today! They're awesome! I hope to see more tutorials soon! ~a new subscriber :)
TM Gaming Awesome! Yeah this is definitely one of my favorite ninja stars to make, so if you do like it be sure to share it and subscribe and thumbs up 👍🏻 Thanks man
Your origami video guides are simpler compared to others. You stand out as the top instructor, and I consistently manage to finish your origami tutorials. I express my gratitude.
I remember when I first made this YEARS ago and it took me an entire day (I wasn't good at origami) and I was super happy, so I went into the bathroom to see what I looked like with it in the mirror. I throw it, and it lands in the bathtub... which was full of water... I still haven't forgiven myself.
why is it SO HARD TO MAKE?! i cant make it. it has been HOURS! oh my gosh i dont wanna even make it anymore ):< i am so frustrated Edit, January 3rd, 2019: 17 likes?! TWENTY-SEVEN REPLIES?! This is the best comment of my life! (I liked it, so technically 16) By the way, so sorry for being a brat.
I got super frustdraded I tore my room up but after like half an hour I got it because I belived that I could do it. Btw it was the last piece I got frustrated.
i also got frustrated on the last piece because it just fell apart. i had to do it all over and when i got to the last piece it fell apart again then i gave up
