This video is actually really simple. I'm going to show you how to make gifs (or animations) without a background or in other words; transparent or clear gifs.
Step 1) All you have to do is open up gimp (photoshop is not required), it is a free software and you can find it here; www.gimp.org/ then import all of your frames/images/pictures using file, open as layer. Make sure they are transparent. If not then you can just use the select tool and clear the parts you don't want. Make sure the layer you are editing has an Alpha Channel when doing this.
Step 2) As you can see when you click Filter, Animation, Playback. It doesn't play as normally expected. To fix this go into filter, export, and export it as whatever you want. However, you should click the box called "as animation" and you should switch the option from "I don't care" to "One frame per layer (replace)" then export it
And you're done. Now go post that picture on tumbler or something...
