Found this by accident yesterday.... And spent the following 2 hours watching your videos. Spoke to me very deeply. I started my channel very recently to document my onward travels. At 35 I'm giving up a career I've built over 15 years to live in the French Alps and travel Europe between seasons. The hints from this video were immensely helpful for me. So thank you for the effort you put into making these. I'll be keeping up to date.
May I ask just how this is coming along for you?! "The jump" into changing life can be intimidating but it's almost always worth it. Please update if you're feelin' it!!? . I'd love to hear your perspective after a year! :) Hope your journey has blessed your life, plentifully and peacefully!

Maybe you can try to use freevision vilta m gimbal to make videos next time ~ It can take a very clear and smooth video~ www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Freevision-VILTA-M-3-Axis-Handheld-Gimbal-Stabilizer-for-iphone-xiaomi-Actions-Cameras-GoPro-6-5/2671063_32898576604.html?spm=2114.12010615.8148356.1.487a5cf6yG8BiO
This video was really helpful we just started about 2months ago and we started in Thailand. We are traveling to every single province in Thailand and this video is really helping us.
"You can literally take a gray sky and make it seem like a beautiful firery red sunset. if you know what you're doing." idk but i felt that in a different way. damnnn
Christian showing em how it’s done!! You’re a really skilled videographer I can never downplay that, but I’m sure I’m not the first to say, it’s your charisma that won us over, the original fans. Whether you film on a GoPro or a top of the line DSLR I always watch your vids for the good vibes you bring to your audience. Positivity wins!!! The tools are ultimately just a means to capture that energy. Your energy, the energy of the place you’re travelling in. I’d much rather take travel advice from a person I can relate to and enjoy listening to than a sterile Expedia video. You’ve inspired me and my girlfriend to travel to quite a few places from your vlogs. Thanks again for sharing your experiences with all of us. #teamgetlost!!!!
YES this video is gold, I learned so much and ive been editing for 2 years now. I find that I am always learning something new and thats why i love editing.
Check out the travel video shot just using mobile - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JJgoi1ndPMY.html This guy made a DIY action camera out of a mobile...
nice "catch" Rainy. I don't think he added that clarification to be funny. It made me laugh that I though he did a second take when he realized there could have been ethical or legal consequences to doing "whatever it takes".
We've been following your since you only had 30,000 subs and you have improved so much. You also inspired us to start our own travel/adventure channel. Its a ton of hard word but so much fun. Thank you!
This is GOLD! Thanks for these incredible tips, Christian. Even though I don’t have the fancy gadgets yet, I rely only with my iPhone and Final Cut Pro prowess. ☺️👍🏼
Hi, there, I just got started on RU-vid, 2.5 months ago. It is very hard to be consistent and post at least one video per week but I ll not give up - i am trying to watch as many videos as possible to learn new skills - improving my b-roll and my editing process (just start learning premiere pro with Peter Mckinnon) this guy is awesome !!
Great tips. I especially liked the 2nd to last one about the rapid hand movement to help with transitions. That's something me and my friends figured out years ago when filming ourselves skateboarding. It's great to have that reminder of why I think film making is such a great art form
As a new youtuber inspired by the travel vlogs, this was superrrr helpful. I'm definitely one of the beginners that was thrown under the bus xD No shame about it. This is one to re-watch every couple months!
I used to make lists of mistakes including destroying the nice footage with transitions or filming in few angles or cutting out the funny parts. I'm learning and improving
Thank you sm for the tips. I just uploaded my first video and it’s sort of a travel video. I hope I’ll get better at marking them because I really enjoy it!
Your tip on the in-camera whip pan is brilliant. Hadn't heard that before. You could do whip pan effect in post, but you would be missing the camera actually giving you a clue at the end of the shot. So handheld pan across a beach but at end of shot quickly pan up to sky. You can then smoothly edit to next shot with aerial drone POV. Really clever. Thanks.
WTF! this must be the best channel for travel videos! from the Philippines here and I am so amazed with this guy! This inspired me a lot! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!
This is spot on not just for travel but for vlogging. I've seen so many vids like this but not one mentions STORY. Perhaps the most key element. Will be trying some of these tricks in my vlogs in the future. Great work. LIKED.
Tell a story ... solid tip man, honestly ... I love travel vids but so many of them are just eye candy ... yours are so good cause theres a story that pulls them through and elevates them. Great vid, as always. Tc
You’re an amazing artist You know what I wanna do right now? Can I travel with you? Really 😊😊 I mean I think the best way to learn is to experience it with you. Very informative anyway and I love it (to the moon and back) 😍
Great advice, I've just started to put together travel vlogs from my trip to Iceland. It's my first time putting together travel vlogs so your videos are really helpful!
Love this video! We're new youtubers trying to build our channel with similar travel goals, tips like these really help push us to get better. Much Appreciated.
Just found your channel I’m interested in this dream, lifestyle, I’m a mother so I want to know where to start to pack up and go! I’ll watch all your videos to see if you answered this.
Hi Lost LeBlanc, I'm a new beginner into video shooting & editing coming across your video. Absolutely love it! Look forward to more exciting videos & tips!
One of the best videos i've seen so far on youtube explaining all the unique tricks to use!! Continue the great work because the way you explained this is so clear and it blew my mind.
Great watch. I love how much you express with your hands however your hands need to be a part of this visual! Need a Longer dof and focus 🤙don't be afraid of your background
Hey Christian this was literally one of the best travel Filmmaking videos I've ever seen! I make travel vlogs too so this was super helpful! Thanks for sharing your wisdom! Stay awesome!👊😎
I've been subscribed to your channel for some time now, trying to learn as much as I can before I plan my first trip to Cebu in April. As always, I learned a lot!
Understand your equipment Slow-mo vs fast motion Challenge the angle Music Stabilize your video Tell a story Move like a master Match your shots with the music Color grading Bonus. Hand motions for transition Use effects wisely
Wow! Excellent advice.I've been shooting video professionally as well as recreationally since the mid 70's. I was amazed how much your thoughts coincide with my own. Uncanny in a way, especially in editing techniques coordinated with the music you select. I even try to drop in my titles to the beat as well. Great job... beautiful work... thank you!
Very nice tips especially for me who is just starting editing travel videos and thank you also for visiting and showcasing the beauty of our country, The Philippines :)
I just found your channel. I'm so in love with your work like you said - you do take this to the next level by giving a little extra on every one of your videos. Thank you for sharing all of this and keep it up! Can't wait to see more of your content.
Gonna start travelling soon in about 5 months, In shaa Allah. Will try to look upto your tips and make a good vlogging channel with my friends. If we succeed on youtube we will surely collab with you some day! Thank you for the amazing tips. ❤
Lost LeBlanc will pick one up on Amazon haha. You still Bali bound? Were spending a month there across Feb/March filming and doing the nomad thing if you’re interested in some missions with people that aren’t trapped under your ‘beginners bus’ haha 🚌 🎥👌🏽
Hi, Your Travel Vlog Tutorial is excellent. Being a beginner, I can relate to the errors I have made in my videos. I will surely try to work on my new videos for sure. Thanks. Best Wishes #StayHome #StaySafe for now.
