I have been following your work for years. What I am very curious about is how did you come to discover this principle, this compound oscillator effect? Were you looking for this, or were you exploring some other thing? I find these discovery processes very interesting.

When a ceramic mug is placed on a streel hook it oscillates for a very long time...perhaps a bearings may not be required ? Hardened steel on ceramic?

Rotary motion can give the needed energy continuously, such as aerodynamic thrust. Oscillatory motion provides energy in an impulsive form. The mechanism of a traditional steam engine uses both types of motion.
