Super simple. All you have to do is pay attention. Squares to bottom of the folded in half rectangle..... sew up to 1/2 in end of sq . It is brilliant..... thank you... perfect for my classes next project.
Hey there, thanks for the video! A couple of questions though. Do you recommend washing sheep wool before sewing? And would you say the measurements are fitting for most people or should I add some inches for a guy with broad shoulders?
If you think you'll ever need to wash your hood, wash you can wash before sewing. Id suggest was by hand in cold water, rinse well and hang dry then make your hood. I find these measurements seem to fit most people. you can always add an inch or two if you prefer longer draping over your shoulders.
It's really not clear what you're sewing to what, and where. And I'm not a new sewist by any stretch. This is a simple project, but you need to slow down and actually talk us through what you're doing.
I used fleece for the hood(s) because that is what I had on hand. I made two and now I have the experience to make another one from more expensive wool if I want to but fleece serves my purposes.
