For those asking for the type of glue, it is Epoxy Acrylic resin (the one that comes in 2 tubes 1 the glue and 2 the accelerator) if you don't apply the accelerator it takes days and even weeks for the glue to set, you can speed the process by using a heat gun, or a hair dryer. Also to make it more liquid and easy to apply you can add few drops of acrylic dissolvent or Toluene. depends on what's available. I don't know if any other glue maybe used or not, I just know that's what the guys where I live use to set the wire as it is resistant to high temperature and has a good electric insulation.

What do you do with the two loose ends of the copper wire, do you just tie them up and forget about it or do you have to earth them or do you not earth them and do you have to make sure that they touch the back of the loudspeaker ie. the magnet ??

Are the sound and performance of the speaker supposed to change if you replace the coil with a custom, hand made one ? (assuming the resistance, coil type and windings number match the original)

great video! to help most people out could you show how to make the form that you wind the coil on? not the hand crank but the sizing of that or any different size coil. that is my number one problem. i get the coil wound just fine but because i dont have an exact coil sizing arbors, it's always too big or small at the end. would help me out and i know this is any DIY biggest problem

epoxy is the worst adhesive to use in holding the bobbin on the former, the epoxy will not hold up under heat and stink, you'll need to use a high temperature adhesive in its place if your using this method for a subwoofer

hard to find paper 'nomex' voice coils usually its that plastic crap and for vintage jbl and Jesens there IS a difference in sound - try doing this with aluminum edge wound found on vintage jbl's d series...good vid tho shows the basics
