Type or copy and paste this in the message: /set greet message welcome {user} {embed: (replace this with your name of the embed!) } *Example* /set greet message welcome {user} {embed:lilkcore} And that should solve the problem! (I'm a bit late but anyways) another way to do this on mobile at least ( 8:34 ) is by typing a hashtag in the chat thingy at the bottom and your channels will pop up you can scroll down to whichever one you want to choose copy that and paste it in the embed (hopefully that made sense)

like above the embed? when you're setting your greet message using /set greet message , delete all the text other than your embed variable ( which should look something like {embed:greet} )!
@@ely. Yes! But I have a problem with the image thing. It didn't work for me. Mimu said that it worked, but when I tested it, the image didn't show up. Could there be a problem to that?
how do i give the bot permissions to talk in the channel? i have to keep it so the permission to talk is off for regular members but its not letting the mimu bot send there when its off and idk how to give it permissions
@@ely. i've tested it and it said "invalid embed_name when using {embed:name_here}, or empty embed. please review your input" and i checked if mimu is allowed to send messages and view the channels but still nothing :(

amazing tutorial!! though i was wondering why when i put the emojis (nitro ones) in the embed it doesnt show up, it just says like :emoji3: without it showing :( i already did the backslash thing but it still doesnt work
when you used the backslash method, did it actually give you the emote id ? if you're on mobile, you have to send the backslash with the emote to get it !
I’m trying to give mimu permissions in the greet channel but when I do it’s like "I don’t have all the permissions" then lists the stuff I have to let it have but I gave it the right permissions and it still wont do it help
like the embed and everything shows but the image doesn't load ? that means your image link is invalid - did you use the /imagelink method shown in the video ?
and you set up the greet message using both /set greet channel and /set greet message & the goodbye message with /set leave channel and /set leave message ? the only reason it would stop working is if someone messed around with mimu's permissions, or it's simply offline
if you have a mod role, you can give that to mimu, although that obviously depends on what permissions you have for a "mod" :) you also can turn on administrator permissions for mimu which gives it every single permission ~ !
I did everything in the video, I followed every step but when I do /test greet, it only says “greet” and nothing else in the channel im wanting it to be in. I set it up just how you showen nothing has worked. could you help?
what's your greet *embed name* ? (it's what you typed in first when using /embed create ) replace "name" with your *embed name* in this format -> {embed:name} , include this in your greet message by using /set greet message message:{embed:name} , and it will work !! for example, if my greet embed name is "elyisawesome", i would set it up using /set greet message message:{embed:elyisawesome} 💗

it means you haven't typed your embed name correctly,, do you remember what you named your embed ? it should show the embed name anyway in the message where you edited everything !
