I'd like to know the wire gauge as well! On the spool of the wire it shows ".0.8", but i can't find this size of wire anywhere! Even the Michael's craft store doesn't carry it! But I do know the higher the number of the wire means it will bend easier. Hopefully the person that created this video will see all these comments!
Hi again! I just looked on their website where they have their jewelry supplies to sell. The "0.8mm" wire that is shown in this video IS the 20 gauge wire size! As for the length of the wire to be cut [which isn't mentioned], maybe start of with 5-inches or so? You can always cut off what you don't need after you make the pendant. I'm going to try making some of the "3-bead pendants" first to get the hang of it & then maybe try it using "4-beads". Just wanted to get this information to you! :)
Omg!! This is so cool thank you!! My boyfriend broke my bracelet but I want to have a piece of green jewelry (the beads are green) but I can’t wear bracelets to work anyways so I decided into turn it into a necklace. Looks so cool!!!! Really great tutorial too!
I want to apologize for my comment. I didn't realize how messed up it was.I voice to text too often and my words get jumbled. What I was trying to say is by accident while I was making this for the third time.I badly screwed it up. Instead of throwing it away, I hammered the wires sticking out the side. No kidding it looked really cool. 😅
The underlying song on this would make it unbearable to watch if I hadn't just muted it. I don't mean to criticize, the video is lovely but the music made me almost nauseated.
L💕💕E your video,I like the way you explain as you go and you show step by step and tell what size wire,Most of all you go slow enough to show exactly what your doing and go from start to finish.I can learn something from you,I wish all videos were like yours,I must subscribe with you.I give you your 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 in heart beat!!! EXCELLENT!!!
@JacobsTradingYeOldeRocks When I cut off the excess, I cant seem to hide the end,so it doesn't scratch( am not able to push it down). Is there a trick to it? Id appreciate your help.
Just FYI, it’s 8mm beads, not 0.8mm. They’re also 0.8cm beads. But we never say 0.8cm beads actually, it’s unusual to say 0.8cm when it’s less than 1cm but we express this in millimeters. We all learn this basics in elementary school in countries that use metric system, which is everywhere except the U.S. lol.
