I think that the whole popular notion that "when the connection deepens, the sex gets so much better" is in many cases just a fairy tale.... Of course that certainly *CAN* be the case sometimes, but........ its also very common for the best sex to come from the fantasy/excitement/rush/thrill of the "honeymoon phase" when 2 people are still new to each other... Taking your clothes off with another person is a big deal. For both involved. Men need to feel safe too. Especially in todays environment when even suggesting sex could land a man in jail for harassment! When and if you get to the point of getting naked, men are at risk too.
