You've made a very impressive sculpture. Don't give up an art museum should collect that. It very adequately represents the turbulence of flight. And an inspiration to clock designers.
Very cool. I love watching some of the steps in the creation. I only wish I knew a bit more about how it works. I'd like to make some kinetic art with metal with my powerplasma cutter and powerarc welder.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me how I can get plans for the movement of kinetic sculptures thanks so much. PD sorry for the syntax errors I do not speak English and I use a translator Alejandro Quintana
Классная работа! Пытаюсь сделать что-нибудь подобное,но без расчетов все не идёт... Не могли бы вы поделиться какими-нибудь проектными данными ?был бы благодарен)
waoo great work !! how long can it moves ? I wander how it can turn such a long time and changing the direction ...🤔... amazing work ! !thx for the vid
Every kinetics have different behavior by design. It depends on the size and the weight and the energy that's being applied. They range from 4 to 12 hours
Thanks for the video! I'm pretty good at cutting and sanding. It's the gears' escapement mechanism that baffles me, to create the lovely irregular and reversing motion. What does that look like? Again, thanks!
What kind of belt is that? Where do you source it? Do you have some kind of full drawing for me to understand how it works? I've been following David Roy closely... I hope to be able to make one too
Rubber cord? Where do you get a rubber cord? Sorry, I have never heard of that before. Can you share where you get this material and maybe a part number? Thanks.
Thanks for a great video ! Since about a year I own a CNC router ( Omio X6-2200L ), made a very prety wooden clock ( Brain Law nr 15 ) and then I stumbled on Kinetic sculptures. I love the motion of these things, but I can't figure out the mechanisme that creates that motion. Any help possible ? thanks again !
