I was messing around with the Anvil Editor one day and came up with a concept for a drop pod in Halo Reach MCC.
It essentially just uses a metal pallet and an elite drop pod. The reason the Anvil Editor is needed is because the elite drop pods physics don't allow the player to enter it, or for the pod the physically fall from the sky in general. The editor allows you to "attach" or merge objects to each other. Basically the pallet is the only item you can touch, but the drop pod is merged with it. So that means that it looks like you're inside, but you are actually just standing on a pallet.
The Anvil editor is modded gametype for Halo Reach on MCC. It can be easily downloaded from someone's file share on PC or console, and works on the custom game browser. It has many features such as object scaling, item attaching and many other scripts.
