Thumbnails are the RU-vid equivalent of the movie poster, without a good one our videos can’t reach their full potential. This tutorial is going to bring a lot of people a ton of value (myself included)!
But how that works? does RU-vid use something like machine learning image analytics to analyze the thumbnails and decides to how many people the RU-vid reaches?

Fantastic. And fascinating to watch. Snappa sounds like a pretty good entry level publisher type package that enables one to do the basics. My guess is that it is more robust once you are in it and exploring additional capabilities. What makes YOUR tutorial exceptionally easy to comprehend is that you don't move your pointer tool too fast when you are demonstrating. It's much easier to follow along that way. Hey Justin great tutorial! Just wanted to let you know that the feature "Remove Image Background" became a monthly fee subscribtion feature... Very frustrating to go all that way and then realise... Maybe you find another solution for people that don't like subscribtions...?

I've been going through my thumbnails and I finally found the setup I can get behind. As for the end screens, I'm just creating my own custom 20 second videos using the Windows 10 Photo app. Each series on my channel will have their own end screen video to make them more fun! Too bad I can't go back to my previous videos and add them onto what's already been uploaded lol!
Canva also offers just as many RU-vid templates. Just don't hit Create New and enter in the dimensions as you showed in your Canva demo. Instead, on the Create New page, select RU-vid Thumbnail. Boom. Canva has dozens of great ones. Thanks for the Snappa info tho, never heard of it. Enjoyed the Placeit tip too.

Great tutorial! I usually create my thumbnails from scratch in Photoshop, but it's useful to look around at these websites to get some creative design ideas. :D
Justin, great vid! Do you know how to make your portrait outline glow after you 'remove background' from it?? I like using Snappa to put my picture in the Thumb, but once I remove the background I can't seem to highlight the border between me and the new background, is there any way to do that??
