About 30 years ago there was a great comedy on TV called Northern Exposure, and in the opening scenes a moose walked down the main street of this fictitious town in Alaska. I think his name was Marty. Your fun cards made me miss this program, and the Washington town where they filmed lots of the exterior shots. With your clear and concise instructions, I'm going to attempt this fold. Fingers crossed.
Connie I actually learned the cardstock saving from you! I just find it so funny that I will die cut something out and then know that it's behind the other piece and no one will ever know! 😁
What a great idea for a masculine card Connie. I find the masculine cards the hardest to come up with a design &/or focal point. Easy to make as any kind of specialty card. Be safe & TYFS
I appreciate you and your videos. You instruct well, quick and concise. Thank you for the z-fold technique, that avoids an extra strip. Thank you for not doing 1-2 hour long lives. I wish for you to teach how-to's on editing. I adore you 😊❤️
Mrs. Connie- Merry Christmas.First let me say how much I enjoy watching your videos. You are an inspiration to me. I am new at stamping/ card making. Million thanks for all your tips/ideas. I also love how you always take it slow, give measurements, and ALWAYS encouraging.
I have everything except the punch and am going to try this. Your u-tube makes it look easy, so we'll see. You do such a great job of explaining and showing at the same time and do it fast. Thanks.
Fabulous card Connie, thanks for easy way of making a Z fold card, this is perfect. Thanks so much and I’m glad that you are feeling better after your surgery. 🌸 Sandy
I bought some of the Brushed Metallic cardstock, even though it's kind of expensive. I bravely cut a 4" x 5 1/4" layer for a Christmas card but, before I glued it down, I punched two hearts from the middle. As I did, I was thinking, "Connie would be so proud of me!" LOL.
Love this Connie! I just made this card today! It turned out beautifully! Thank you for your creative inspiration! Yes, I always punch or die cut my card stock panels that are going to be layered behind other paper. TFS!
I made a card right along with you while I watched. I just love the plaid DSP and have bought two packs. I made a birthday card. I didn't have the moose so I just used trees. Thanks again!! :):)
Thank you for showing us that it isn't just seasonal! I was interested in the cuts and folds to make this so precious. I can see this design for feminine cards too.
Love this card, thanks for sharing. Om joining your make the most of it gang...... I loves to get the very most I can out of every scrap of card stock👍🏽
I love to die or punch the mat and then cover it up! When I showed this technique at SU card class, they all dropped their mouth! Ha! I told them I learned it from Connie! They all know who you are! Keep up the tutorials, God bless and stay safe!
Yes, sometimes it seems so wasteful when layering the beautiful DSP etc, and I loved the 'fix' you did for the messed up stamping on the card base. This was a cool fun fold that I'm going to have to try, thank you Connie!
Beautiful card! Just received my Moose bundle and will be making this card! Great tutorial and tips! Thank you so much for sharing! Hugs and have a blessed day!
Thank you so much for sharing, Connie. I love your videos! The Christmas card is beautiful! The Z-Fold idea is amazing! But, most of all, I appreciate the detailed instructions you give. I REALLY appreciate the measurements on the screen. It makes it so easy to just take a screen shot on my ipad and come back to it later.
Watching the replay. Love this card and I love saving paper. Whenever I can I try to use the layering card stock for “other cut outs”. Thanks for sharing.
Love this card Connie ! Great z-fold, I have yet to try it as I keep forgetting ! The moose looks so cute there, perfect for masculine cards. Thankyou for sharing.
