Whenever I do this, Windows ignores whatever I have highlighted and ONLY compresses the one file I right-clicked into a zip file. It's very annoying, what should I do?
you should use the shift key to select also you can not zip a file or folder that start with "." (for example".godot", ".env" for any find of data env stuff)

Is it possible to find the capasity of data in the zip file as l need to purchase storage from Google.( Note: l don't need to open the zip file in Google Drive but will need to download and open in alternative Windows set up.). as usual they leave out some very important steps for those of us who are very tech challenged. like how do you get to the page where you have those files on the side like it shows. it needs to be realized that some of us need to know ALL the baby steps needed to get to the place where you start explaining how to do a zip file. i am so lost as to even how to get to the part where you start explaining the process

3:10 There are tools that will let you update a file inside of a zip archive without having to first go in and delete it from the archive, but I don't know if the native zip folders tool in Windows lets you do that. I used to do that with the original PKZIP program in DOS, but I can't think of a situation today where I'd need to modify an existing zip archive. These days, I'll probably end up just making a brand new zip archive with the latest files and then delete the old zip.

Compressed zip files do NOTHING!! I made an MP3 of a CD (63 MB size). When I "Compressed" it to a zip file, it INCREASED the file size to 23GB!!!! Totally useless for sending anywhere, through any method. What did I do wrong? Help?!?!
It’s good because a lot of games, if you want to modify them, they must be zipped. That’s only one example, a lot of other things only accept .zip files.
