Made it. LOL. A little complicated as you had said, but a well put together tutorial. You have a knack of explaining things so it would be easy to follow. Looking forward to your next videos.
Hi, I have a question...I followed the steps in the video but I can't see any animation in Blender, the character doesn't move, it just stays in the T-pose, even though I downloaded the animation
If the model is importing into Blender in a T pose, then I think maybe the animation FBX didn't get downloaded right in Mixamo. You might try the Mixamo section again at the 02:54 time mark. Hope this helps.
Made it. From one Shane to another. I'm still working on a video I filmed a few years back that was supposed to have a zombie horde in it. Prior to filming, I actually had enough people that were going to show up for it and make it look legit. The day of shooting, my horde ended up being only three, total. I just finished work on building the scene up with some digital zombies. Unfortunately, I don't have Element 3D to get the same level of randomness, but you o what you can. Great tutorial! Definitely looking forward to trying it out in the future.
How many clips with a zombie horde in them do you have? I might be able to help, if it's not to many. . . I'm working on some zombie horde stuff for a friend of mine anyway, so I'm going to be doing some of the work already. . .
I found you at the start of 2021 :) for me, your Videos Tutorials it's like a delayed Christmas Gift :D. I just start with After Efects setup lights, green screen, tripod, drone, gimbal, everything that need for the beginner :) ... so from me on all watched videos BIG FAT LIKE and Definitely 100% subscribed and shared your's videos too !! keep going and I think you will be in the top lead in no time !!
Awesome! Thanks for telling me, it's comments like this that keep me going! Even though some of my tutorials cover things that are a little complex, I try to explain it so that even beginners can do it and learn from it. I hope to see you around!
So excited about this and thank you very much for the tutorial. I have all the software but for some reason my fbx file doesn't move in Blender which is super frustrating. I see the key frames and when he is imported, he has the arms out pose so possibly in the download? Do you know why that could be?
It's hard to say, it could be one of a few things, but make sure that in blender, you are in layout mode, and not modeling mode or something like that.
Sounds good! I'll be available to help, and I'm going to be making some "drag and drop" zombie hordes that people can just drag into their footage. Good luck!
Other methods are very different, but I am considering making a zombie pack that people can drag and drop into their scenes. Then all you would need is a basic editor. Subscribe or check back to make sure you know when I have it made.
@@saisankeerthveggalam1536 The short answer is to go into a program like Blender and put the animations one after another. But if you are not very familiar with blender, it wouldn't be very easy. I haven't really been doing that, but I know how i would try to do it. Perhaps I will look in to it and make a tutorial about it. I'm sure others would like to know.
Absolutely you can! And you can build portions of your horde in Blender and then still proceed with it to element 3d. Very powerful stuff! I have also removed bits and pieces of the zombies that I didn't want in Blender and then import it into Element 3d. Great question!
I release after effects tutorials from time to time, I hope they help you! Here are my After Effects tutorials so far. ---> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P85I56TWie0.html
@@rachana__ I can make a tutorial about this, but for now, I have a video that might help. I have this one - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vpP9RpCIm5k.html starting at 1.33.
@@michaelgabrieloiglesias4388 The "in place" button only appears on certain animations. Like walks and runs where the character would be looping the animation as he walks a longer distance. Try choosing a different animation such as a walk and see if the button appears. If you are using an animation where the character stays in 1 place, You wouldn't need to check the "in place" button. I hope this helps.
