GOODNESS! I spent an entire morning trying to figure out how to do this with regular wire. As you can imagine, it wouldn't hold its shape. Watching you create one makes it crystal clear! Thanks for sharing!
hello there! a month ago i bought a bracelet just like this and i love it, i wanted to buy some for friends ,unluckily its out of stock.i'm gladi've found your tutorial thank you very much for sharing.now i can make and personalize my bracelets!!
Thank you for this great tutorial. I'd seen this type of bracelet at a craft show (not sure if they used memory wire) & always wondered how they made them - love the fact that it's adjustable. Your video is very clear & concise.
I wish we could post photos in the comment section because I did exactly per your instruction on this tutorial and I think I did an awesome job. LOL Considering it was a first time for me. I thought it would be so complicated. Thank you so much!
Hi Bianca..I truly enjoyed your video and subscribed as well. It's just as cute as the bracelets that everyone are paying crazy money for plus you can personalize it. Thank you for sharing!
you can use 22 gauge memory wire, but only if you are adding lots of beads like she did in this video. If you want the more popular A&A bangle, that just have charms, you have to use a heavier gauge wire -such as 14 or 16 gauge, 22 is to soft to use.
Unkamen supplies on Etsy and their own website sells all gauges and hardness of wires. Buy from Ralph, 3/4 hard wire for my bangles. Contact him. He'll yelp you. Cheryl Kaplan
thank you so much for this tutorial it looks really easy I can't wait to try it and can you tell me what color are the beads they are beautiful and blue is my favorite
Loved this tutorial Bianca, thank you! The sound is still only on one side of the speakers though (for me it's only coming out of the left side). I've checked other sound sources too to be sure it's not my headphones dying. Thank you again though for a beautiful bracelet tutorial! :D
Hi Thank you for watching my videos. I am not very good with tech problems. I will try look into the sound and see why this is happening Kind Regards Bianca
I really do love your tutorials! The projects you've made ad the designs are just beautiful! I want to get into beading and the like, so I'm doing as much research on materials and techniques (not so much on designs as they wouldn't belong to me, even if I love how they look). I had a question about the memory wire: Does memory wire come in a standard size when you go to buy it or do they come in different sizes? I know that memory wire bracelets, from experience, can be adjustable depending on the circumference of the wearer's wrist, but does the wire itself come in different sizes or no?
Thank you for an excellent tutorial!!!! I love the bright blue beads you use can you tell me what the color, style and size is and where I can buy them? Thank you so much :)
Hi. Can 1 flush cutter be used for all sizes of memory wire/ copper wire etc? Does this tutorial applies for expendable rings? What are the tools required?
Set aside a set of tools dedicated for memory wire - flat-nosed pliers, round-nosed pliers, and cutters. The metal is so hard that it can throw the pliers out of alignment, plus damage the cutters, as Shelley said.
I don’t know why this doesn’t work for me, I put it on and it expands massive and stays that way, I’ve done everything everyone says I’ve watched three tutorials send help lol
To the best of my knowledge, memory wire doesn't come in different gauges? It does come in different sizes, though. The large size is probably best for this project, since there aren't a lot of beads. When using big, heavier beads that will weigh the wire and stretch it, sometimes the medium size works. The small size is really only for child-size bracelets. Hope this helps you...
