I just stopped what I was doing for almost 30 minutes to watch a guy make cheese. Not disappointed. Looks yummy!

And this is how I started making cheese in Nov 2021. Gavin hit my random feed that February, and I found an Australian bloke making cheese in his kitchen, telling blokes in their own kitchens on how to make cheese in their kitchens. I thought it was super complicated, and he broke it down into easy to understand steps, with explanations of those steps. I can't thank him enough for the basic skill-set learned, and there's still so much to learn.

i watched the first video, i'm on my 3rd now. it seems easier and more satisfying to watch him make it instead of buying all of the shit you need and making it yourself lol

Should be called a birthday cake cheese, looks like a white cake covered in rainbow sprinkles! Looks yummy!

This cheese is utterly wonderful. People are generally quite fond of this cheese simply for its aesthetics. But I will assure you it possibly the best cheese I've ever had from Germany .

This makes me really appreciate the amount of labour that goes into making cheese

Thank you 😋. The only trouble with cheese making is that it takes time, a lot of time. With this video, I began it 8 months ago. I stuffed the cheese up the first time, so had to re-do it and that took another 4 months.

Crystallisation is a natural process with honey and not an indication of age. In fact it is an indication of quality. If it has crystallised then just warm it to bring it back to the runny state. I’m going to try this with a guidos cheese I made this week. Fingers crossed!

Not sure, I suppose you could buy a vegan cheese and coat it with a blossom mix and then vac pack. The result should be the same.

if honey 'candies' or clumps, simply heat it in a water bath or microwave to return to a fluid state: honey doesn't expire.

9:42 what can you make with whey?
@Erika70079
@Erika70079 6 месяцев назад
Norwegian Brunost. Slowly simmer the whey down until it turns gold brown. You can finish it then and get a spreadable sweet 'cheese', or you can let it go a little longer, and when it cools, you'll get a harder block.

How much milk is in each container? 9.7 liters is such an odd amount.
@GavinWebber
@GavinWebber Год назад
2 litres per container. I removed 300ml from one of them and added the 300ml of cream to increase the fat content.

Great video, but if one is 90 years old and in not too good health, we don't think this is the cheese to make as one may not be around to see the curing.
