For ignoring the collisions you can just give each of the body parts a 'PlayerPart' layer or smth like that and then in the Physics 2D settings you can disable collisions between objects of that layer.
I’ve spent the last week fucking around with spring joints trying to work to create natural movements and I’ve been absolutely BTFO by a single unity function and a sixteen minute tutorial I absolutely prostrate.
i need help i made the balancing script it works good but my caracthers right leg keeps floating and everything is on the settings you recomended the left leg is staying perfectrly
Every time I have imported or copied balance scripts they never give me the force and target rotation options it just says script balance can anyone help?
One thing I'm wondering is how would you implement this into a state machine? I tried giving this to an ai but it really doesnt move that well and it just walks into a wall
I had a similar problem. You can change the target rotation of each element, I set the target rotation of the legs to 180 (same as their starting rotation, so you can script this aswell) which made him stand up straight
Thank you so much 😊 Hopefully I get a new video out by next week. Honestly, I would recommend that you watch the beginners coding tutorial from Brackeys to start out though. Thank you for subscribing ✨
