Oh my goodness! Your awesome. If you had a bakery around here I would buy your pies. I’m old and my hands hurt from the job I had before I retired. (I built Transit Cars and Locomotives) for a living. It would take me now about 3 days to make that pie. I love you, you are gifted with the ability to make a show stopper pie.
Incredible pie crust! I love to weave pie crusts too - but mine is much more casual than yours! For pie taste, I would either pre-bake the bottom crust or brush it with egg white. Also, I’d skip the cookie crumbs and add more apple! I’d definitely keep the apple juice, which look pretty thick. If you think the juice is too runny, add a tablespoon of instant tapioca to it.
More than a pastry chef, you're a real artist and you really seem to love your job, because at least, with or without your artistry, the final taste is the same isn't it ! That's why I consider you a real artist, who also thinks of the "visual", extra work is pleasure ! Beautiful hard art work.. to think all that hours of work be gone after servings. But still its beautifull. Remember my granny did make such tartts with different art work. Pitty that she also already go the way of all flesh. She is gone for 44years and yes I can still see her baking and cooking while watching your video. Thanks again its beautifully.

Love the pie! But 1 bit of advice, if you are going to spend a long time making a pattern on the pie - don't cover it with ice cream! Put the ice cream to the side of the pie :)
I was so bummed to see you open a pack of pastry crusts! That's the crazy part for a LOT of us! I wanted to see that happen! Now I have to go dig through all your videos and see if you DO it!

Your design is nice, but you should have retained the juice because with the addition of the cookies, it looked dry. Pro tip: cinnamon will disperse evenly, if first you dissolved in hot liquid.
Hi, I followed recipe and make the pie come out beautiful and tasty fantastic but I my basket weave didn’t perfect like you made ( it so hard to keep straight ) but I happy because the pie was so delicious. Thanks again so very much. Love you always.
