I still ❤love sitting with my coffee and watching you work. You inspired me to get back in my art room and work again, because I had lost my mojo. I now have 2 journals in process for Christmas gifts due to your tutorial series.
I'll be watching this video again, I'm decluttering my stationery and paper shhhhh-collection and I already have a small pile of magazines that I'm keeping - I'll now be able to turn them into something. Thanks for sharing!
Love it! I have gone to the trouble of folding the mags., however, I never followed thru. Thanx for the reminder! I love how you seem to make quick decisions.
This is bloomin' brilliant!!! I love this idea, thankyou! Also, the trick with turning your focal paper at an angle on the bookpage is really good - makes for a great look.
I made a couple of these a couple years ago, it was so much fun. I left one long because I had some long things I wanted to glue in it. Very fun watching you make yours. The little black piece on the bottom of your snap blade pulls off so you can snap the blade off and then slips back on. Very convenient. Thanks for Sharing your process. I love the use of the calender for the cover.
Absolute genius hats of to a true master. Wonderful video deserves an award for inspiration and skill. Thank you, a true treasure you have shared with us. ❤❤👏👏👏
Wow ... easy! Love it. Myself, I would add the cover paper right side up, but you don't mind upside down😊. I would have to change that sunflower cover, lol. It shouldn't matter, but even print, I never put upside down. Never seen this idea, I am going to try it! Thank-you 😊❤
Game changer!! I've recently gotten into glue booking and once I pull out the pages for that there is plenty of magazine left over but I have been putting the left overs in the recycling bin. Not anymore and calendars for the covers, why didn't I think of that? Thank you so much. I can't wait to do this with the teens I work with.
Thank you so much Sharna, I really really enjoyed watching you create those cute and adorable things. We’ve just got a RSPB magazine which I’ve got my eye 👁️ on 😂. So I’m going to try to create a couple of journals from that. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
This was great. I only worry about using glue stick in so many layers on front and back covers. I hate when things pop up and don’t stayed glued. But great idea for recycling magazines that show up in the mail. Do you use guesso on the pages before using paint Dawn
@@ameliaford5636 oh, I understand now ☺️ I will see how I go, if it looks like it is getting toooooo chunky (although I love chunky) I may stick some pages together or tear some out to thin it out 🩷🧡
Do you have a problem using the magazine shiny paper, I have found some shiny papers really do resist all glues? Thanks for your help, and love your videos.
