Wrong! WRONG! WRONG!!! That roux is 20x too thin and too much oil. Also if you say it’s ok to use tomato, you ain’t Cajun, Padnuh! That BS Celery & Bell Pepper doesn’t go in Real Cajun Gumbo!

That guy is a total bummer ^ and also wrong. I’ve been to Cajun country with Jack and had the best gumbo of my life made by his family with their hands right in front of me. Seems like trying to restrict a type of food to exactly whatever you’ve personally defined it to be is missing the point. Love what this channel does and really cool to see a delicious generation’s-long-meal like this come together before my eyes 🥹🥰😍🙏
