That second crimp you made on the wire is supposed to hold the skinny end up the rubber gasket. Makes putting them in a little easier then jamming them in
I was removing the rear bumper from my car and found out the backup camera wire doesn't run through a pin plug, it's a single wire fished all the way to the cockpit. So, I had to cut it. Inside it has 5 different wires, thankfully color coded. So I need to make something like this when I reinstall my bumper back.
Could you please provide the terminal you used to connect the wire to the housing connector? I have been looking for what type and can't find it anywhere. It appears to be the same one you are using.
@@RezyNWorX thank you for reaponse, but I'm actually looking for the terminal connector that is crimped onto the wire like you did at 1:18 in the video. I tried a 2.8mm spade terminal but it was too small. I am unable to find the terminal, but it appears to be the one you are using here. It is to insert into the connector
