Needed a simple blanket to crochet for a donation to a fire company. 2 skeins thats for me woo hoo. Great video. Top top it off made 2 in 3 days a girl and a boy colored and now wanting to make more. Cheapest blanket to make by far so pretty and works up quickly im in love with this blanket.
As a new beginner to crochet this was so easy to follow. I started in dusty pink cuddles wool and it looks really good. I am French and cant always follow the English instructions but your tutorial was easy to understand . Thank you.
I love variegated yarn and have quite a few blankets made with different color ways. I am always looking for another pattern and this one is perfect! It’s simple but interesting. I love half doubles so in the second row I am substituting a half double. This keeps me a bit more engaged going back-and-forth from the row with a double and a space to the straight rows with half doubles. Thank you so much!
This is so nice and easy for a beginner! I knitted a scarf for myself but I always wanted to try crocheting. My friend gave birth recently and I will gift her daughter a self made blanket. I love your tutorial ❤
Thanks for this I make blankets for a baby bank so always looking easy patterns that look good and this certainly does, so will be giving this a go interesting turning technique that I shall give a go too. I also love seeing different peoples techniques of how they crochet 🙏❤😊
I have been looking for a couple of days for a girly baby blanket for Our 3rd Grandchild. I'm sitting at my kitchen and thought, Let me look maybe I'll find something and Lord be hold Yours was the 1st one that popped up. Thank you so much And God bless.❤️
The blanket is a beautiful pattern. I love how it is a 2 row repeat. I am always looking for easy patterns to do. Thank you. Looking forward to watching your other videos
I purchased your pattern on Etsy, but I am a visual learner and having this video is just the extra tip I need to be sure I'm doing this right. Thank you! (And I have happily subscribed to your channel.)
Thank you for the video tutorial. It’s really helpful. I’m pleased that I was able to purchase this yarn online in Australia. I’m making it in the colour ‘storm’ which is beautiful. I love that the yarn doesn’t split.
5 stars for the video & the blanket I'm hooking it up for my god daughter it's a hot pink will do the edges with white trimmings love it & ty for everything .
Was curious what you end your project with? The Double Crochet row and not the Window Pane row? And after that, do you do anything else before cutting off your yarn? I love this blanket pattern!
Absolutely Beautiful Baby Blanket, Thank you so much for the pattern and very easy to follow video tutorial. I am making the blanket right now as a gift. 😍💗🧶💗😍
Hi! Will be Greygrandma I’m excited will like knitting a crochet an baby blanket can you help let me know what kind of yarn you are used please 🙏🏻 aprecio
Maritza, ella usó Basix en el color rosado y se llama Blush. El enlace está en la caja de descripción. En el tutorial está usando Stylecraft Special Aran y ese color se llama Duck Egg. Felicitaciones en ser bisabuela.
Very nice and easy thanks u also probably could do this with a smaller stitch as well. I love chrochet I'm 62 and have had to slow way down because of a bad hand. But I still do a small amount. Like a lot of things too much all at once is not a good thing but it's so hard when u love it 😂
I have fallen in love with this pattern and am doing the throw size with 176 chains... when I am doing the very first double crochet 3 times then chain 1 and repeat all the way down at the end it's only giving me 2 double crochet and not three. I have took it apart and done it all over again and still getting the same.
If you chained 100 to begin your blanket, Row 1 should have 99 stitches, 98 double crochet, plus the chain 2 (counts as a double crochet stitch) created at the start when you skipped two chains. It may be hard to recognize. Insert the third and final double crochet of Row 2 in the top of that beginning chain 2. Hope that helps.😊
I have 56 rows done - maybe a stupid question but which corner do I start with the border - I will finish with a row with windows. What corner do I start the single crochet border? Any help would be appreciated. Used one skein of Premier Just Yarn (875 yards)
So I just made this blanket...first time making anything. For some reason my holes did not line up. Wish I could sent you a picture, regardless I finished it.
