Your enthusiasm is catching...in fact I was watching your videos recently and have just designed a shabby 3 pocket, pocket using your papers and inspired by your style. Tina you always make me smile, your daughter has the sweetest voice. My kids use to always ,because I was a nurse, say they were never sick enough to stay home from school and never got much attention unless they were really hurt. Not true but their idea because i would not let them fake it for sure. You just reminded me of the many laughs my children and I had about that. great fast snippet idea.

Lol, love your memories of your children. Sometimes my daughter hears someone else say they have something wrong or have hurt themselves and just jumps on the bandwagon, kids are so funny like that x

Are you pushing a button? I've never seen a sewing machine like this. I have the traditional singer and I so really extremely fast, LOL. But hey this turn up absolutely beautiful, and I'm so excited to do something like this. . Thank you so much for sharing.

Yes, I have a hand operated button, which is just really handy, especially whilst sitting at the Kitchen worktop, as my feet wouldn’t reach the floor for the pedal! Lol. Lucky you having an original Singer, sorry for the slow speed, I didn’t want it to be too noisy x

LOL! I'd have had a hard time cutting up the first one too -- it is so pretty (in fact I might make one like that as a background sheet!). These snippets are wonderful! This looks like fun. I found Joie de Fi and subscribed to her channel, as well, so thanks for that! I totally understand your not wanting to cut apart your pretty works of art. I was wondering if you could make copies onto copy paper or whatever, rather like doing a masterboard? Anyway, I know you'll do something lovely with these. Thanks for sharing!

So that you aren't so distressed about tearing up the page, maybe you could try tearing it with the book page side facing you - then you could be surprised when you turn the strip over!

I haven’t been able to cut up my master board either! I have one I did like carol law with book pages end to end -it’s about 4 ft long-collaged both sides BUT I can’t seem to cut it up? 🤔lol maybe soon! These are lovely!

Very pretty!! My sewing machine has got issues. It just knots the the back of the item. I have to monkey with it to see what is going on.

Mine used to do that all the time, but in the end I had been threading it wrong, it might be worth rethreading it, especially the bobbin x

@@shabbydabbydoodah I have tried everything even watching a video and reading the manual. This nice man gave me an OLD singer but I have to get needles for it. I am going to get self threading one's. All of my life I threaded them for my mom and grandmother now I need help. LOL so self threading is the best option for me. Someone told me to try to get the screw in where the bobbin goes and tighten it and try that. I will when I get it out again. Thank you for your help 💞

I love them just beautiful, I just a swing machine, I have been playing with tension and with length of stitch, can I ask what needles do you use for your paper, l know l to work on the others things because everyone machine is different, oh l have a singer 3322. Thank you 😊

Oh fantastic Christal, I hope you have fun with your new sewing machine. I still have issues with tension, so I can’t offer any advice I’m afraid. I just use what they call “Standard” needles, which I have never had a problem with x
