Ma, thanks for the well explanatory tutorial, but the hip you added won't it affect the sewing of the center fabric,I think the hip measurement should be at the last two at the back and the last two at the front??

Divide your waist and hips by 16 because you are going to fold your paper in two.

Add your flare width at the foot length to the value you got after dividing your hips by 16. Don't forget your seam allowances at the necessary places

Please ma'am, since you said 8pieces will be cut out using the pattern. How do one then add allowance for zip because you didn't mention that in the video. Thanks for the tutorial.

I added one inch on both sides. That will cater for the zip at the back.

it's simply to enable free movement and it's nice for your skirt flare too because it shapes right from that point. By deducting d two inches you would be able to walk easily.
