I can confirm this is NOT easy. Clickbait title probably, or maybe he wrote that title from his perspective, forgetting about newcomers. Obviously to him this is easy.
i think explaining what you're doing or show different angles of a hard step would be very helpful for not folding the same spot over and over until it wears out
@@endme4518 yeah, you have to watch it a lot to understand but eventually I got it. From that part it was really easy and I think this is a good tutorial
I love the model and honestly the "easy" is just a clickbait, it's relatively hard, mostly because super easy folds are explained and showed super slowmo but tricky hidings and foldings were done in a blink of an eye.. I had to use 0.25x speed for 2 sections and took me 10 rewinds to get what's going on, that's also because the angle of the light, for tutorials it is better to use a 1sided colored paper so more easy to understand and see what is where. Anyhow, as I love the model and I managed it in 20 minutes while my kiddo interrupted both the folding and the video multiple times, I'm overall satisfied, so thank you thank you 👏🙌
don't worry, I've been making origami for 6 months you need patience, make some easy origami like a dragon, or a cat from "Origami Alchemy" "Halloween Special - Cat" its simple and efficient or search "origami Dragon" and there will be a short where a channel named "Easy Origami" i forgot the name will fold a green coloured origami. happy folding, good luck!
This paper you're using has an interesting texture and seems to have the ideal properties in terms of thickness and foldability. How do you call this kind of paper?
@whale aya OK, it's Japanese origami paper, but it doesn't say "Japanese Origami Paper" on the package ... That's at least something I can work with, I guess. Thanks!
After 12:38 it’s completely screwed in video. Without explanation and showing that part especially. Something wrong with the head of the cat. I’m not new at origami, but, as many noticed, the title “easy” it’s just clickbait here.
Very nice cat, but rather unbalanced - won't stand up as one side is heavier with more folded paper than the other. Needs to be held, leaned or glued down. Otherwise great for 2D decorating.
Great tutorial I have managed to make the body but I've messed up at the head so much that sadly I couldn't do it anymore, but it still was pretty fun :D
cried and ended up ripping the entire thing apart 👍 everything went shit after 7:15 ,, either i’m stupid as sht or i did something wrong, most likely both.
Everyone says it's hard but strangely I managed to make it easily despite having made origami only on technology lessons in primary school and one time this year😲
Absolutely not easy. Slow at some points and suddenly something happens really fast and I have to rewind it 10 times. 12:34 for example gave me brain hurt and I quit. Thank you for the effort though.
When you search up easy origami. Results: HOW TO MAKE A SNIPER RIFLE GUN!!! Midnight: Dang this trash can be looking good. Comment: Thank for the cat tutorial. It was very clear and slow just next time use a darker color so people with bad vision (me) can see it better.
the whole point is that in the title he says it is "easy" but it's actually pretty difficult for someone just starting out and even me who has been doing origami for years has had a little difficulty doing this one. therefore the title is somewhat misleading
THIS WAS NOT EASY WHAT CLICKBAIT. I CRIED AND POOED MYSELF MAKING THSI. I VOMITED ALL MY PASTA OUT AND CRUED LITERAL WATERFALLS. FRICK YOU BRO 👹👹😿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👺🤡🤡🤡💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
THIS IS NOT EASY! this tutorial should not say "easy" because it's not. I had to play several parts over and over again at slowed down speed to finally understand what was going on. and why did you show the easy folds so slowly and clearly, but for all the difficult folds, you did them so quickly!! and your fingers covered most of it! and it was slightly off screen!! so irritating! i nearly gave up!!! 😡
Awful tutorial! Don’t bother unless you’re a) good at origami already or b) are a mind reader and can figure out what on earth he is doing half the time.
