Hello Lovely people, I am so glad to make this video for you all. Watch the complete video to know how you can make this mandala design and how you can bake that mug or what to do if you don't have oven at home, What special colours to use for ceramic mugs.. Enjoy :)
What type of oven you use to bake your mandala mug, is there a specific oven required for it or a normal one can also suffice, ma'am kindly reply please
I love your videos so much !! You always make sure to share to the point information about the process. And that's for sharing how you baked it. I always wondered how to do it ,as not many indian artists share this part .. ,again , thank you so much for making these videos which are super helpful ,calming and very encouraging for beginners .
Yes i have seen in Kristin Uhrig's video. She baked in 350 degree Fahrenheit for 30 mins. Let it cool completely then remove it. you don't have to varnish them. They get cured completely.
You can't use normal acrylic paint on ceramics. As I have mentioned use Multisurface Paint. I have used Folkart multisurface paint. And you have to bake it to cure the paint.
The paint I used is dishwasher safe. Fevicry is definitely not. It will peal off once it is dried. You should not have used it on ceramic. All you can do is to seal it will food grade resin.
It's lovely...if we don't bake and air dry the mug then we can wash that with soap and the colour will not come out or baking is more useful please suggest....
Yes I have air dried a few mugs and they are doing fine. You can handwash them with soap. But make sure don't scrub too hard on painted part. All the best.
