It will recover eventually, and investors should be positioned for such a rebound, gained $150k from just g4 of 2021. before the market crash and now I'm buying again. A heads up for creators, there's lots of hidden costs in this - Creating one piece ended up costing me around $90 due to Ethereum transaction fees and the platform failing five times (I had to pay Ethereum fees for each of these too) $20 for Dollar to Ethereum $70 to create the artwork. Update November 2021 - no sale so far

I was attempting to do this as a joke but on the final steps I kept getting this message - Client error. Message from client: Request failed with status code 401 - Not only does it not work, but imagine putting $100 into it and not even being able to try and make NFT's. This is sad.

I’m guessing rarible creates the smart contract once the NFT is uploaded.. since you login with your wallet, the royalties assigned to you go there at each exchange indefinitely..

I personally think this revolutionary way of buying /selling art or actually anything that can be classified as a virtual asset will need to be watched very closely. Not very well put, but basically, to stop people listing every scribble they can create, there is a 'Gas Fee' for each item listed. These are artificial expenses but are designed to stop a flood of crap. Mind you, most of the stuff on sale is complete crap - speaking as someone with 25+ years in 3D animation for film & TV! LOL
