Good video. You can make this simpler. The Google does not need too fit through the grommet. The toggle can use just a v cut all around and no hole. You put your string through the grommet then tie it around the toggle. Just a stick with a v cut. Saving time and energy.
Somehow RU-vid recommended this video and thus I watched it. So glad I did, you are entertaining (‘I forgot to hit record’, ‘too much coffee’, etc.) yet informative. I don’t camp or spend much time in the woods (tough to find woods in Southern Arizona) but I am definitely going to make some toggles today just for fun (and to brag about all the knowledge I’ve learned from you). I am off to watch more of your videos (and subscribe). Thank you for being real!!
great stuff, nicely done. So under-rated having a few toggles handy, weigh nothing and it's odd how hard it can be to find something suitable when you need it. Good luck with your channel, I know how much work you have to put in to get these uploaded-nearly at 1,000 subs, all the best from subscriber #882 🇺🇸🇦🇺✌🏻
In plaats van een kurk uit een fles weg te werpen maak ik er soms een Toggle van, dat is natuurlijk niet sterk genoeg maar ik maak dat dan sterker achteraf met zo'n lijmpistool
Thanks. I think a Swiss Army knife was my first knife. Some people don’t like them, but I am a fan. For the price point the Mora Companion is hands down the best knife.
Pard,Semper Fi,Real Quick does that Canteen fit in a LC2 A Alice Gear Canteen Pouch? I take it that's a Self Reliance St. Steel Canteen.Pard our 782 Deuce Gear,we had in the Corp, with our Butt Packs is to me Still the most Timeless way to Carry Enough Stuff for a Weekend in Good Weather ,Throw in our Alice Pack and Now good for a Solid Week even in Oct/ Nov.Conditions here in Wyoming.
I think it fits into the old 782 gear. It’s the same shape. I have used the canteen stove for my metal and plastic one. Yes it’s a self reliance steel canteen. But shop around, there are some less expensive options
“A” for content … simple, straightforward. “A+” for lighting! Every presenter on RU-vid should use your stage lighting. Post what kind of lighting and how far away it was from you. Well done!
If you learn to tie a Spanish or Portuguese Bowlin and leave a tag line on it you almost completely eliminate the need for a toggle all together. Except of course to lift your canteen if your using one of those...😅
@brokenbushcraft Just tie a loop in the cord/line. Put loop through grommet. Insert stick through loop. You could also double the loop over itself before Inserting stick. Probably better. You then have double cord through grommet. Easier on grommet, tarp, etc. And the stick. Numerous variations, but this is basic, simple, easy, uncomplicated method. Hope my explanation was more clear than muddy. If not you have my apology.
