@@deborahlee2208 We are located in Thomasville, North Carolina. Right now, we don't have outfits for the kids to mime or praise dance in. I just have them to wear all white. This year for Christmas, I was thinking of having 4 of them to have angel like wings in gold, for a praise dance. Hi! I used silk essence from Joanne's fabric store. It's a light material that flows really well. I pray God blesses you in making these flags in Jesus name!

I just measure half of my length. Like if your flag is 60" long, make the top of the curve 30". I hope this helps!

Make sure the material you use is compatible to heat press (if you're going that route) and is able to flow well when waving the flag. I'm praying God blesses you with this 😊

Hi there! Each flag is 60 inches long. If you stagger the flag cuts on the material, you can get more out of the material. I would buy 4-5 yards to make 2 flags just to be on the safe side. You probably wont use that much. I'm overestimating because I cant go look right now. I hope this helps

I usually buy 3 yards to make 2 flags. I use silk essence by Joanns Fabric store or you can buy pure silk. We also paint pictures with dye on pure silk and turn them into banners and flags. We usually do a class on how to paint on silks in the fall, if you are interested..

I just used a pair of scissors for the fabric and a small saw blade for the wooden dowel rod. I used a material called silk essence in this video but you can use different types of materials that are light weight and catch the wind. You can Google silk essence and order online or go to your local fabric store to see what they have. When I go to the fabric store, I will unravel material and wave it to see if it will catch wind. You do want light weight though. The heavier the material, the more arm muscles you are using to lift the material. I pray God gives you a new revelation to sew and make weapons of warfare for His Glory. I speak God's kingdom to flow through you in such a mighty way that when you move in His presence people will be saved, healed, delivered and set free in Jesus name! Be blessed!

I measured about 60 inches down the material(long), 30 inches across (wide), marked my measurements. Cut the material in a curve to met each marked measurement, which altogether a half circle. I hope this helps! 😊

I tried to make a few fan flags in the past. They did not turn out so well. I bought mine when they averaged about $15 each. The price has gone up since then. If God gives me insite to make them correctly I record and give you the link to watch. I'm sorry I couldn't help with this at this time. Have a blessed week ahead!

I think it was 36 long x 1/2" thick or 3/4 "?.. I always cut my rods to the length I want them. I cut the rods to be half the length of angel wings. I'm sorry I can't remember the thickness. I havent made flags in a few years. There are other types of materials you can make rods from but I mostly used wooden rods. The wooden dowel rods are cheaper and more stiff but they eventually break due to wear and tear. It all depends on your preferences. I hope this helps! It seems like you're referring to a swing flag. Seeing flags don't handles but uses a weight
