I been doing this method for 2 months now. I made 3 upgraded mustangs. 3 diff matte colors for my merges. I found out recently once you merge the matte onto another vehicle. You can change the matte color anytime you wish via secondary color - crew color. Hope this helps ppl that merge their own cars. It is so worth it. Triple black matte goes hard.
Saw this video 3 months ago, never did the glitch in-game, as the process seemed tedious. & im glad i didn’t go through with it, as its +$1M per car upgrade, & getting the colour off by a tint or hue, either have to live with that, or buy a new car & redo that process. In the meantime i figured out a much, Much quicker/cheaper/simpler method, & that is, apply any Matte (colour is irrelevant), then apply Crew Colour, exit Auto Shop, leave Online, & rejoin Online.
1: Did i miss it, or…how did the colour transfer from the Arena vehicle, to the Elegy All i saw was in the vid, Upgrade/Buzzard/then Elegy with the Arena vehicle colour 2: what happens if you change the Rims/Colour
Did this a while ago, and primary was unselected matte black, but the secondary swapped to selected matte or metallic black. Looks like it worked there, but anyone who tries pure black as a crew color might be wasting money.

@@killadongiveaways53as common as it may seem I’ve been searching everywhere for a “worn” or matte black w a unselected black pearl. So the color doesn’t get drown out w pearl.
@@DogManX no no. So the pure gold colour in the normal colours looks different then other colours. There’s a way to get that finish on crew colours. Like matte crew colours. Pure gold finish I should say
@@ejsalway I’ll try it tonight. The problem is matte (crew) being unselected to do the trick you need to selected a crew color to have that finish pop through. Now you could do a pure gold crew color and then take that finish from gold metals right and apply. This one will be tricky! I’ll see what I come up with no promises! 🤷♂️

Is there a way to do this without the gold wheels? Like say i had a vehicle with an unselected wheel color that i wanted to change the primary color. Could i keep my wheel color?
Correct! This wasn’t about making clean cars this was to show how to get matte colors for cars. But if your looking to get unselected and clean cars Twitter has a community for these! 😉
It means selected the short and sweet of it. For collectors a clean car in gta is priceless. I have many scratched and clean vehicles in the game. Totally how you want to play.
What are the steps after you upgraded to the Arena rusty stuff for 1 million? You didn't show anything but you just brought some Elegy car. Could you please explain because I just upgraded the Dominator with my crew color and I don't know what to do next.
