Hi, very informative video. Can you please share link to buy the portable grinder ( for grinding marble dust and lime) Is there a specific name for this kind of grinder
You can purchase general food grinder available in the market... ntg specific for this purpose. You could also hand grind it if you can (use gloves). I happen to just borrow it from someone for couple of days.
@@livelovefarm9724 We are building the entire home using lime, sand and jaggery. Locally this is called Guch - lime surkhi. Will share the pictures soon.
@@livelovefarm9724 I will share the pictures as soon as the walls and the plaster is completed. Madam, a quick question: Have you come across mechanised barnishing tool/ machine?
@@sharatkum1 no, i haven't seen any tool of that sort. But after applying plaster if u work on the plaster with thinner trowel for some time, you can reduce burnishing time.
Hello /julay all the way from Ladakh.. thanks for sharing your beautiful experience... Where is this place and how do you teach others?Because I'm curious to learn this plaster..
yes you can. cement will act as a hydraulic/setting compound and will add much more strength, but then you will lose the "natural" component if that matters to you. Here in the US stucco is made with cement, sand and hydrated lime.

Hey hi. This is one amazing video, especially since I could not find many Indian youtubers covering this topic of limewash painting. Is there any way in which I can contact you? If it isn't too kuch trouble, I would like to get your advice on doing my own space this way. I can share my mail id here if that is more convenient for you. Do let me know via a reply, and I shall share the id. Thanks a lot.
