Stephanie Hernandez yes, you’ll need to bake them a bit longer. Bake for 8-10 minutes but keep an eye on them. Make sure they bake all the way to the center or they’ll fall apart. Also with mica, you’ll use a lot less. If you use too much, you’ll have issues.

Fragrance oils are synthetically made chemical scent compounds. Essential oils are steam-distilled pure plant extracts used for scenting or aromatherapy. Basically, one smells good and may have other health benefits (i.e. lavender essential oil smells good and should produce a calming effect on people) while fragrance oils just smell good and are generally less expensive.

I would recommend using vinyl letters and add them to the back side (smooth side).

I use htv. I place the image on the cookie sheet (htv up), place my mold over htv where I want it, add nail, add beads, and bake as usual. Let them cool like normal and remove the backing. I’ll try to get a video up soon to show how I do this.

Gema Sanchez I find that they last about 3 weeks in the car, but then after that they’re not as strong for a big space, but then I’ll move them to a dresser drawer or small coat closet in my house and they’ll work in there for another three weeks or so.

If you let them cook too high or too long I have had some smoke slightly but the beads also had smoothed out too much... best to keep close eye on..

I have 2 places I use because I found some have a strong scent before using and I have to wait to scent and color for future baking.. Bitter Creek is a good one. and make sure as you go to remove any scraps that got in by mistake they may mess up your design

@@courtneypadgett2756 did you put the lid on before cooking or while it was cooling after you pulled it out of the oven?

Before cooking

@@courtneypadgett2756 try cooking them like normal without the lid, and then when you take them out of the oven, push the lid into the beads where you want it and let the beads cool like normal. It should set and mold to it and hold it on.

You must remove when still kinda warm.. if they get cold they have adhered to the metal cookie cutter and you can bend your mold when removing . some cand be bent back carefully but sometimes it is done... Hope this helps/// do not wait till cold //just cool enough to remove quickly and lay flat out of mold to finish cooling.

you can use any candle liquid dye or even micas used in makeup coloring. But the best is Liquid Candle Dye. Check out Candle Science.
