I’m not sure where this is, but I lived in Africa and had a chance to shoot some of their bows, they often use very heavy what would seem to us westerners oversized arrowheads, but are well designed for their archery systems and works well for their hunting purposes!
Lol brother it's not for hunting.... thats for lethal use... war and all these people were making weapons from ages and theybare just keeping it alive by making it on and on
Wyglądało jak tradycyjne wykonanie. A tu nagle szlifierka kątowa... Tradycyjna? It looked like a traditional performance. And suddenly an angle grinder... Traditional? It is known that ancient people started a fire by rubbing a stick against a stick. And for kindling they used old newspapers
Doesn't matter whether it's a spear or arrow head. Whomever it is, made it and finished it with their own 2 hands. I might buy a handful if they were available somewhere.
What's the purpose of the long tail coming off of it with the tip of the opposite end of the arrow flattened out? I mean that'd be a lot of steel to put in a arrow shaft seems like it would split the shaft I guess unless you we're to place it flush against the shaft and lash it together
It actually is very strong when the arrow is made correctly. You have to reinforce the end of the shaft, there are a few different ways to do it. I have built quite a few arrow with tanged heads.
It's a spear head , for a spear or an atlatl. too heavy for an arrowhead,, more than likely it's burnt in to the end of a shaft and when it enters the deer the wild pig the goat it does not pull out the spear drags behind the animal causing more damage and more bleeding so that it can be tracked!! also it drags and leaves a mark in the sand or dirt for easy tracking!. I'm only presuming because I've been a hunter most of my life but not a Bushman
@@frankcolwell3593 okay I believe you anything is possible but I am an old Hunter and started hunting back in the 1960s but during wartime with a heavy ball and a big Arrowhead it would work after all it's probably all you had maybe?
Spear,, Lance or atlatle point. and then the end is driven into or burned into a spear or shaft or atlatl shaft . really it's to heavy for Arrowhead!! it's more of a spear point and designed to be attached to a shaft and not an arrow so much not! Probably
doesn't know how to cut metal with a hammer and chisel by heating the metal first, i think I'll pass on the rest, thanks. I don't even work metal and i know that much. This is just idiot bait.
