Sorry for the horrible quality, I put this all together really quickly and then just uploaded it. Hope you all can still enjoy it! Thanks for watching! Please subscribe to see more Music: JJD - Adventure • JJD - Adventure | Glit...
Dude - your a genius! I thought it was awesome how quickly you seemed to throw that together. I enjoyed it. With a alittle tweaking and some math its a million dollar product.
Really dude am i the only one who saw those sparks at the end??? u gonna get shocked dude 🤣😂 but anyway nice video i'll try to make one cuz my brother keeps leaving my door open.
Got me in the right direction. I kept thinking about gears and things that will contact the hinge (and i did see some kits for 100s and 100s of $), but all i need is to make an arm push the door. Thanks.
Its a cool concept and build but it would probably be better and more practical to just take that surgical tub and use the elasticity of it to shut the door by attaching it to the door and the frame, so basically a big rubber band pulls the door back closed.
doesn't work, to make it snap shut you need more momentum, and it can snap if you open the door too far too fast this is why I'm here looking for a more mechanical way now lmao
You could have put rollers on the arm instead of just cutting an angle. This with a blocker preventing the arm from going to far back would have eliminated the need for the band, and would have also relieved the stress on the motor while closing. It's not a bad concept and even if it is a failure it may be the spark someone needed to create something else. BTW I zip tie all my motors
It'd be great for when you don't close the bathroom door and you really wish you had! Clever concept. I'd work on it a bit more to see what you can tweak.
Part of the problem from where I sit would be solved if you simply put your contraption a little higher up on the door, say where it is between the panels so it would be more smoother. Nice attempt though.
