Spray the plastic with water first... help with bubbles... can squeegee them out

If I'm making my own badges and I don't want to buy blanks can I use the UV resin for the entire mold? The last couple times I put the mold under the UV light it's still sticky after 2+ mins. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
